Manchester United Transfer News: Bayer Leverkusen 'Triple Raid' Rumours Emerge
Manchester United have set their sights on the BayArena this summer, following reports they will look to complete a "triple raid" for Omer Toprak, Karim Bellarabi and Hakan Calhanoglu, all of whom are up for sale.
German newspaper Bild reported Leverkusen are willing to let as many as "seven top names" leave this summer following a disappointing campaign, a list on which the aforementioned trio are thought to feature (h/t Daily Star's Marc Williams).

Turkey internationals Toprak and Calhanoglu would be expected to strengthen United's defence and midfield, respectively, while winger Bellarabi could bring some sought-after pace to the wide areas.
While the Factory Squad have endured a difficult season and currently sit eighth in the Bundesliga, there's no reason why the Red Devils can't make the most out of their misery.
Each of the reported targets still stands as an impressive power in their own field, and the fact that Leverkusen are supposedly ready to cash in only makes the potential coup all the simpler.
Of the three mentioned, Toprak could be seen as the most essential, considering manager Louis van Gaal has made do with Daley Blind as a makeshift centre-back all season. The official Bundesliga Twitter account also recently shed some light on the 26-year-old being one of Germany's toughest defensive forces:
Toprak has 23 caps for Turkey and has made 166 appearances for Leverkusen since arriving at the BayArena from Freiburg in 2011, but injuries have slowed his momentum this season.
International compatriot Calhanoglu, meanwhile, has gathered a reputation in Germany as one of the finest strikers of a dead ball in Europe, having netted nine direct free-kicks last season, per Transfermarkt.
It's more difficult to see where Calhanoglu would fit into United's setup with the likes of Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard already jostling for a spot in attacking midfield, but the opportunity to land such a promising 22-year-old talent doesn't arise often.

Bayer Leverkusen chief executive Michael Schade told Bild in October that while the club wanted to keep hold of their player, "there is a pain threshold," which is thought to stand at £29 million (h/t talkSPORT).
Another who could fit into the Old Trafford setup is Bellarabi, who would be expected to vie against the likes of Memphis Depay for a place on United's wings if he were to arrive at the club this summer.
The Mirror's Alex Richards was impressed by the 25-year-old's performance in a recent 3-1 win over Sporting Lisbon, but he added that Calhanoglu could well be the bigger talent:
As promising as Calhanoglu is, however, there's room to argue the Red Devils are well-stocked in the youth department; what they need now is proven talent ready to make an immediate impact.
Leverkusen may be ready to let their trio leave, according to latest reports, but that doesn't mean United are close to any deals just yet, considering the Germans are likely to drive a hard bargain for any stars set to leave.
