Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The move was partially a financial one for the team, per Cameron Wolfe of the Denver Post:
But the team also reportedly likes young tight end Jeff Heuerman, per Palmer:
Daniels has spent his entire career with Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, as he was with the Houston Texans (2006-13) while Kubiak was the head coach and with the Baltimore Ravens (2014) while Kubiak served as the offensive coordinator.
The veteran struggled with injuries throughout his career but has been healthy the past two seasons, playing in 31 of 32 games. While he isn't an elite option at the position, Daniels is a steady producer who can still play a role in a team's passing game.
For the Broncos, meanwhile, Heuerman looks set to be a major contributor for the team next season, though the Broncos will likely add depth in either free agency or the draft as well, as veteran Vernon Davis is a free agent.
