Drew Brees Tweets Great Throwback Photo in Honor of Peyton Manning's Retirement

Peyton Manning officially announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, so many around the league have been saying farewell to the future Hall of Famer in their own ways.

Nobody has done it quite like New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, though.

On Tuesday, Brees shared a classic throwback photo of him and Manning together from 1998. Brees was a quarterback at Purdue back then, and Manning was the No. 1 pick in that year's NFL draft.

If you just briefly look at the picture, you may not recognize Brees. But as we know now, the person on the right wound up being one of the best NFL quarterbacks of his generation. (And the one on the left wasn't too shabby himself.)
