Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller of the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers star receiver Antonio Brown headline an athlete-heavy cast for Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars.

ABC News (h/t Yahoo) noted that the cast, which was officially announced on March 8 on Good Morning America, will also include former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie and UFC fighter Paige VanZant.

Miller gave GMA a preview of his dance moves at the time, and the NFL provided video of Brown on Monday:

Flutie commented on his appearance:

IT'S OFFICIAL! Hitting the dance floor on @DancingABC w/ the incredibly talented @Karina_Smirnoff #DWTS #22on22 #GMA https://t.co/1JGDxS55Dz

Along with Flutie and Karina Smirnoff, the other pairings are Miller with Witney Carson, Brown with Sharna Burgess and VanZant with Mark Ballas.

Athletes have enjoyed a lot of success on the popular ABC show. In Season 3, Emmitt Smith started a four-season streak of athlete winners, which also included Apolo Ohno, Helio Castroneves and Kristi Yamaguchi.

Other DWTS champions from the world of sports were Shawn Johnson, Hines Ward, Donald Driver and Meryl Davis.

As you can see, it's a group heavy on NFL players and Olympians. The biggest advantage is probably the training experience, which makes the intense workouts for the show less abnormal for them than for competitors coming from other professions.

Brown explained the toughest part of the preparation so far to SportsCenter (via ESPN.com): "Being able to move with good posture. As a football player, we want to move as explosive as we can with no technique and be as fast and fluid as we can. Just learning how to move with good posture and keeping my shoulders down."

Here's a look at the Steelers wideout in action, including a touchdown celebration that maybe wasn't quite as DWTS-worthy as some of his others:

Ultimately, this is a strong group of athletes for Season 22. Miller, Brown and VanZant would all seem to have a realistic shot of winning the mirror ball trophy. Even Flutie might have the moves, but at age 53, it will probably be tougher to survive the grind.

Other notable names on the 12-person cast list include actress Mischa Barton, actress Jodie Sweetin and reporter Geraldo Rivera.

The 22nd season of Dancing with the Stars kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on March 21 on ABC.
