WWE Roadblock 2016: Bold Predictions for Live Event Showcase
WWE generally decides to be bold and brave at WrestleMania each and every year, so expect WrestleMania 32 to be no different.
There will be twists and turns, and there will be plenty of surprises across the board. But given how WWE has a fairly depleted roster on its hands, expect some shocks at the Roadblock event this Saturday, too.
Here are a few bold predictions for the upcoming show on the WWE Network—including one right at the top of the card.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens Will Steal The Show if Booked
Sami Zayn making the save for Neville on Raw this past week seems like the latest step towards a full-time switch to the main roster for Zayn.
He looks set to kick off a run on the main roster with a feud against Kevin Owens—which, to paraphrase The Authority, is without doubt best for business.
You only have to look back at their feud in NXT—and even further back with their pairing on the independent circuit as Kevin Steen and El Generico—to know that both of these guys can seriously wrestle.
They're not scheduled to have a match at Roadblock this weekend, but it would be great to see them fight at the show. It would also give the show a major shot in the arm, as Roadblock has failed to get going in terms of momentum so far.
An NXT Graduate Will Debut on the Main Roster
There is an NXT bout scheduled for Roadblock, with the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line as The Revival fight Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady.
That will be well worth watching, but expect some other NXT influence on the show too—probably leading towards a move to the main roster for someone.
Baron Corbin has felt ready to move up for a while, but after he attacked Austin Aries on NXT last week, perhaps those two will have a lengthier rivalry that will keep Corbin on NXT TV.
What about Samoa Joe? WWE could be tempted to push him up now, given his star power and renowned reputation.
Have him interfere in someone's match—maybe attacking someone like Kalisto—setting up something between the two for WrestleMania.
Don't forget, WWE has a depleted roster on its hands. It needs all the help it can get from NXT right now, and Roadblock could give us a big hint as to what lies in the future for some of NXT's biggest talent.
Dean Ambrose Will Be Screwed Yet Again
Sure, Dean Ambrose is scheduled to fight Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania—but it's only two years since one of WWE's biggest stars pulled double duty on a huge night and won the big one.
With Roman Reigns still out of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture, WWE has been placing its focus on Dean Ambrose's match with Triple H at Roadblock this Saturday.
However, it's so obvious that Ambrose is the smart choice to eventually take the title from Triple H, that the company may decide it has got no other option but to work a way into the Mania main event for Dean.
That could likely involve him being screwed out of the title again this weekend, something which has been a familiar story for The Lunatic Fringe over the last year. This time though, there will be a positive to come from such a huge negative.
A way will be found for Ambrose to—controversially—overcome Lesnar after WWE announces that it will give the victor of their match a passage to the main event, perhaps setting something else up for Brock in the process. Then Dean will get his wish and get added to the main event, probably in a poor physical condition, similar to Daniel Bryan two years ago.
It could be the catalyst for so many good things to happen in WWE over the coming months. The Authority's stranglehold on the top of the company is ended—particularly if Shane McMahon finds a way to get past The Undertaker—and Ambrose would be the new champion, something that has been overdue for a long time.
You could even work a Reigns heel turn into the plans, too. It all seems to fit.
