Chris Gayle's very well-publicised sexism controversy during Australia's Big Bash tournament was only two months ago, but the West Indian batsman gave everyone an opportunity to revisit it with an Instagram post on Tuesday.
With March 8 marking International Women's Day, the 36-year-old took to social media with a well-meaning message: "Happy Women's Day. Tag a woman who support[s] West Indies."
But as he probably ought to have known, that didn't stop his followers sticking the boot in:
