Jets' Brandon Marshall Lobbies for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick with Odd Bear Video
On Monday morning, NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport reported that quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to hit the open market, as he and the New York Jets are "far apart" in contract negotiations.
Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall made it clear—in an odd way—later in the day that he hopes the two sides can come to an agreement.
Marshall created a video in which he pretended stuffed bears were the dynamic Fitzpatrick-Marshall duo. In other words, he wants the Jets to do whatever it takes to make sure the Harvard alum is back under center for the team next season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's hard to blame Marshall for campaigning to keep the veteran quarterback. With Fitzpatrick throwing the ball, the wideout had arguably the best season of his career in his first year in New York. Marshall set Jets single-season records for catches (109) and yards (1,502) and tied the franchise record for touchdowns (14) in a season.
So yeah, there's good reason for Marshall's wanting Fitzpatrick back.
