Barcelona Transfer News: Neymar PSG Move Talked Up by Lucas Moura
Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has encouraged the club to complete the signing of Barcelona superstar Neymar and teased the thought of his international compatriot linking up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Lucas spoke positively to Goal's Loic Tanzi of the impact Neymar could have at Parc des Princes but said he hasn't had many opportunities to speak directly with his Brazil team-mate:
"Of course, why not? To have a great player like Neymar at PSG would be a great honour. He’s a phenomenal player and to have great player is a great thing for the team. But it will be difficult for him to leave Barcelona.
"
We speak sometimes. We’re friends and he’s a normal person. He’s always happy, smiling and making jokes. On the field he’s sensational.

Neymar's current contract at the Camp Nou is set to expire in the summer of 2018, and although speculation of a new deal is rife at present, the forward is yet to agree on new terms with the European champions.
Ibrahimovic's contract in Paris, meanwhile, will run out at the end of this season unless he signs an extension, but Lucas added a front three consisting of him, Neymar and the Swede could make a "really good combination."

Neymar has developed immensely as a player since completing his move to Catalonia from Brazilian outfit Santos in 2013 and finished third in the 2015 Ballon d'Or voting this past January.
Yet his growth at Barcelona has only heightened the lengths Europe's powerhouses are willing to go to in order to secure his services. Sky Sports correspondent Paulo Freitas confirmed which clubs made a move for the player last summer, noting Neymar's desire to remain in his current setting:
The attacker played a critical role in last season's treble triumph, and Barca will undoubtedly be eager to tie down the loyalties of the man who stands out as the most obvious successor to Lionel Messi, 28.
Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda recently appeared on television show El Chiringuito de Jugones, where he said PSG are still in talks with Neymar despite speculation of new terms being agreed at Barca (h/t Sun's Matt Heath-Smith):
"Neymar’s father has been speaking with PSG, even on the same day that it was claimed he had signed an extension with Barcelona.
I do not know if he is negotiating or not — but he has been talking to a person very close to [PSG owner] Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
He has asked him for a number very close to what Messi earns.
"
As evidenced by the tax evasion and corruption allegations that have kept Neymar in a bind with the Spanish courts of late, wherever he goes, big sums of money tend to follow—sums PSG may be willing to splash in order to land their man.
In January, Sport Witness sourced French newspaper L'Equipe shedding some light on the kind of fees PSG would be expected to pay in order to add the Selecao star to their squad this summer:
Lucas has scored 10 goals in 25 starts for manager Laurent Blanc's side across all competitions this term, but both he and PSG could take the next step in their development if they were to sign Neymar.
Barca aren't likely to be willing negotiators when it comes to the potential sale of one who will undoubtedly go on to become their most cherished asset, but that won't prevent Lucas from dreaming of what could be.
