Alex Teixeira Scores Twice on Chinese Super League Debut for Jiangsu Suning

Liverpool fans, look away now!

The Reds worked hard to land Brazilian Alex Teixeira during the January transfer window, but no fee could be agreed. 

Instead, he signed for Chinese side Jiangsu Suning and made a spectacular start to the season with two goals in their opening 3-0 Super League win over Shandong Luneng.

The first goal above was a real beauty after an assist from former Chelsea man Ramires, and he wrapped up the points with a neat finish near the end.
