
HS Team Wins State Play-in Game After 4 OTs, 3 Buzzer-Beaters, Full-Court Heave
There are games, and there are legendary battles that go down in school and state history.
This one falls under the latter.
On Thursday, two teams from southern Minnesota left it all on the court. According to Daniel Ring of the County News, emerged with a 103-100 victory over Marshall after four and three buzzer-beaters.
Best of all was the full-court heave from Nick at the end of the third overtime. With a second left and his team down by three after some Marshall foul shots, the guard threw up an 80-foot prayer.
