Chelsea Transfer News: Cesar Azpilicueta Wants to Stay with Blues, Top Rumours
Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has declared he has no intention of leaving Stamford Bridge and wants to once again help the Blues climb to the summit of the Premier League.
Sean Kearns of Metro quoted the talented full-back who said he wants to stay in west London, even if the reigning title holders miss out on next season's UEFA Champions League:
"I count on staying another few years at Chelsea.
I’m very happy there – I’m not thinking about leaving the club. I’m only thinking about the Blues.
Marseille made a big impact and gave me the chance to discover Europe. I felt very good over there but if I have to leave it would be for a club where I could develop even more than at Chelsea.

The Spain international was an integral part of Jose Mourinho's side as Chelsea swept to the Premier League title last term, but the Blues collapsed after the summer, leading to the self-proclaimed Special One's premature exit.
The former Osasuna defender has continued to feature for the Blues at both left-back and right-back in 2015-16, and he has started 33 times under Mourinho and interim boss Guus Hiddink in the league and Europe, according to WhoScored.com.
The reigning champions have recovered their standards after the installation of Hiddink at the Bridge and currently sit in second place in the Premier League form guide, only behind Tottenham Hotspur.

In other news, Chelsea hope to recruit for their midfield in the next transfer window and want to sign Dutch teenage sensation Riechedly Bazoer.
Darren Lewis of the Mirror claimed the Blues will battle Manchester City for Bazoer, who is rated at £6.75 million by TransferMarkt.
Dutch football writer Elko Born recently lauded the powerful 19-year-old enforcer:
Here is a video of the Eredivisie prodigy:
According to Lewis, Chelsea are in "advanced talks" to sign Bazoer, but City will push hard to capture the Dutchman for new coach Pep Guardiola.
Bazoer could soon be considered one of Europe's elite midfielders, and at the quoted price, he will be considered a steal.
The former PSV Eindhoven youth product has already made his full international debut and appears ready to make the step up to a major league.
The midfielder is perfectly suited to the rigours of English football, and his combative nature and technical prowess will make him a huge favourite at his next club, should he choose to depart the Dutch capital.
