Gianni VerschuerenFeb 27, 2016

Liverpool have reportedly joined the long line of clubs interested in Ajax starlet Riechedly Bazoer, while the Reds are also being linked with Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain, who is rumoured to have turned down a contract extension.

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport (h/t talkSPORT, via Metro's Tom Olver), the Reds, Arsenal, Barcelona and AC Milan are all contemplating a move for Bazoer this summer, as the race for the 19-year-old is fast heating up.

The Daily Mirror's Darren Lewis previously claimed Chelsea are talking to Ajax about a possible £24 million deal, and the midfielders' agent has already met with Blues officials as well.

Bazoer maintains he has no intention of leaving the Netherlands at the end of this season, as he told De Telegraaf (h/t Football-Oranje.com's Michael Bell):

"

I am very happy at Ajax.

I am developing well here, the coach believes in me and I have a contract with the club until 2020. I am not thinking about other clubs yet.

I am proud to have become an undisputed starter at Ajax, but I am going through a difficult period at the moment to be honest.

I am working really hard in training in order to reach the level from the first half of the season again. I am not saying I have been in bad form, but I always demand more from myself.

"

He also told Helden Online (h/t ESPN FC) his dream club is Barcelona, and he hopes to be playing for the Blaugrana in the near future.

The 19-year-old has established himself as the Netherlands' latest top talent with a series of impressive performances for Ajax. Despite his young age, he already runs their midfield with the poise of a veteran, displaying superb passing ability and remarkable vision.

Here's a look at some of his highlights:

The youngster seems determined to continue his development at Ajax for now, but international media refuse to listen and continue to link him with a summer move. Expect those rumours to persist but for Bazoer to stay put for now.

Elsewhere, Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football Italia, via David Wright of the Daily Express) claims Higuain is keen to leave Napoli at the end of this season, putting Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea on high alert.

The former Real Madrid man has been in sensational form all season long, netting an incredible 24 goals in 26 Serie A starts, per WhoScored.com. Manager Maurizio Sarri previously admitted his strong form will lead to plenty of offers during the summer, per MailOnline's Simeon Gholam

The 28-year-old is one of the most consistent scorers in Europe, although fans who don't watch Serie A remember him best for his struggles during the 2014 FIFA World Cup and last year's Copa America.

Higuain seems to have rediscovered his best form, however, and will be a popular target this summer. Here's a look at some of his highlights:

He's been the main reason behind Napoli's push for the Serie A title in the current campaign, and if he does leave the Partenopei at the end of the season, he'll cost a pretty penny. Per Wright, Napoli won't sell unless his £77 million buyout clause is triggered.
