WWE WrestleMania 32: AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens and Matches to Ensure Epic PPV
WrestleMania 32 is already shaping up to be a huge event, but there's still plenty of room on the card for the rest of the roster to find its place.
As of this writing, we know of three matches set for the biggest pay-per-view of the year.
At Fastlane 2016, Roman Reigns became the No. 1 contender to Triple H's WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and the following night on Raw we found out about two more contests. Dean Ambrose will face Brock Lesnar, and Shane McMahon will battle The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell.
That practically fills up all the main event spots, but what about the rest of the show?
This slideshow will look at some possible additions that could help give some deserving talent a little bit of the spotlight.
AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens (Intercontinental Championship)
1 of 6The groundwork has already been laid for a feud between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens. All WWE has to do is pull the trigger and make it a reality.
When Styles debuted at The Royal Rumble, he spent a long time in the ring before KO ran down and eliminated him from the match. Owens went right after The Phenomenal One as if he had an ax to grind and has been making reference to Styles through social media ever since.
Throwing Styles into the hunt for the Intercontinental Championship would be a great way to follow up on his excellent series of matches against Chris Jericho and would give Owens an opponent who is capable of pushing him to his limit.
These two could end up stealing the show from everyone else and putting on one of the best IC title matches in years. They don't even need a special stipulation; all they need is 20 minutes to produce an instant classic.
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks vs. Paige vs. Charlotte (Divas Championship)
2 of 6When it comes to the Divas division, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Paige are the cream of the crop, and there's no better way to use all of them than to stick them in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Divas Championship.
Charlotte announced a No. 1 Contender's match on Raw between Banks and Lynch, but that doesn't have to dictate what happens at WrestleMania. The winner of that bout could challenge Charlotte before the PPV and get it out of the way.
We have seen the kind of magic Banks, Charlotte and Lynch can produce when they were in NXT, and adding someone as skilled as Paige to the mix would only make things better.
With WWE's new attitude toward women's wrestling, it would be foolish not to feature the company's best and brightest on the biggest show of the year in a match like this.
If management wanted to make things even more interesting, it could set up the first Divas ladder match to up the level of excitement, but that might be wishful thinking.
Kalisto vs. Sin Cara (United States Championship)
3 of 6One of the things we haven't seen in WWE in a long time is a good old-fashioned lucha libre feud, and there are two Superstars who could make it happen.
Kalisto and Sin Cara are still partners, but there is no reason they couldn't have a friendly match for the United States Championship.
We have seen tag team partners have singles matches without breaking up the team before, so there is no need to turn one of them heel to make this storyline work. Kalisto must simply agree to grant his friend and colleague a shot at the United States Championship. It's that simple.
Their high-risk style would make for some fun and memorable moments, and it would be a fresh matchup we have never seen before.
There's no downside.
The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass (Tag Team Championships)
4 of 6Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are destined to be on the main roster, and there is no better way to bring them into the fold than a big match at WrestleMania 32.
Putting them right into the hunt for the Tag Team Championships is the best way to give them the most exposure right away, and adding The Usos to the mix ensures the match will have plenty of big spots and exciting moments.
The New Day has defeated just about every tag team WWE has to offer, which means this is the best time to inject some new blood into the division.
Amore and Big Cass are unique and popular with the crowd. They can bring something to the table that the tag title scene has been missing for a long time, and there's no point in having them waste anymore time in NXT.
Goldust vs. Stardust
5 of 6Forget Goldust and R-Truth. Forget Stardust and The Ascension. What fans really want to see is a real resolution to the Rhodes brothers' unfinished storyline from last year.
Goldust and Stardust were one of the best tag teams during their run as partners, but their singles feud had a lackluster showdown at Fastlane 2015, with an injury sidelining Goldust and ending their story prematurely.
Brother-versus-brother feuds are always entertaining because there is a more personal feel to the storyline. We saw it with Bret and Owen Hart, and then again with Matt and Jeff Hardy.
We know Goldust and Stardust are both great technical wrestlers who are willing to take a few risks to add excitement to their matches. Giving them one last hurrah at the biggest show of the year is not only something they deserve but something fans will want to see.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt
6 of 6Bray Wyatt and Dolph Ziggler have crossed paths before, but never as part of a real feud. It was always a throwaway match without any kind of storyline.
This pairing makes sense for a couple reasons, but mostly it would give two wrestlers who don't have anything else going on at the moment a chance to shine.
Ziggler is a brash, flashy showboat who is the kind of person someone like Wyatt would target. The story writes itself, but more importantly, they could bring out the best in each other.
Wyatt has had some incredible matches against some of the best WWE has to offer, and we all know how good Ziggler can be when the spotlight is on him. This one is a no-brainer.
The seven matches on this list would help make WrestleMania 32 a great show, but as with everything related to WWE, everyone has an opinion. What would you like to see added to the biggest show of the year?
