Ty Vickery Tries to Catch Ball That Isn't There, Falls with Apparent Concussion

Concerning footage of Australian Football League star Ty Vickery has emerged from Friday's match between Richmond and Fremantle.

The Richmond star is shown jumping for a ball that isn't there and trying to call a mark before stumbling and falling to the floor.

Initial suggestions that Vickery had suffered a heat stroke have been ruled out by the Tigers, per Yahoo, with the team still looking into when the player might have suffered a head injury.

"We take a strong approach to that (concussion), and we have to go through a few hoops before we could consider him to play," said Peter Burge, Richmond's physical performance manager, per Yahoo.
