Williams Active vs. Knicks
Saturday, March 26
Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com reported Williams will play against the New York Knicks on Saturday.
Williams a Valuable Backup for Cavaliers
While not a major part of Cleveland's rotation, Williams has played an integral role at times in 2015-16. He started 14 games early in the season when Kyrie Irving was on the shelf, and his 43.9 shooting percentage this season is his best mark since 2009-10.
The Cavaliers have one of the best scoring point guards in the NBA in Irving, and Matthew Dellavedova is behind him. Williams' role has diminished since Irving returned in late December, but considering how injury-prone Irving has been throughout his career, the Cavs are undoubtedly glad to see him back in the lineup.
