Former NBA Guard Delonte West Seen Wandering Outside of a Jack in the Box
By his own account given sometime last week, the 32-year-old "used to be but I'm not about that life anymore."
Even more startling? The testimony to this transition was delivered to a fan in Houston, where West was spotted alone at a Jack in the Box restaurant around 10 p.m., barefoot and cloaked in a hospital gown, according to said fan's deleted caption.
The same caption revealed that West attributed his circumstances to "life." In 2011, Slam Online's reported that West had a history of bipolar disorder for which he took nightly medication.
Regardless of the root, this latest news is no doubt a shocking reminder no one is immune to setbacks large and small—particularly those exposed to the stresses of high-level competition.
