Ex-Barcelona President Joan Laporta Trolls Cristiano Ronaldo After Penalty Miss

Cristiano Ronaldo picked a bad weekend to miss a penalty.

Just the Tuesday prior to Real Madrid's La Liga clash with Malaga, the Portuguese forward had responded cryptically to Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez's controversial pass-penalty, telling reporters (via the Sun): "I know why he did it and I am not going to say anything more than that. You can think whatever you like."

Ronaldo then followed up his comments by missing a spot-kick in Real's 1-1 draw with Malaga on Sunday, attracting ridicule from ex-Barcelona president Joan Laporta.

The former lawyer posted a meme of Ronaldo on Facebook, along with the message: "I know why I missed the penalty, but I’m not going to say why."

Ouch.
