Emotions—high and low, from player and spectator—go hand in hand with sports.

Following the Minnesota Golden Gophers' 68-63 victory on Thursday over No. 6 Maryland that snapped a 14-game losing streak, senior forward Joey King had a lot of emotions.

More than for himself, however, King was proud to have given his home crowd an exciting win—the first conference "W" of the Gophers' season:
