Watch as Rafa Benitez Opens Up About Frustrations at Real Madrid on BT Sport
Former Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez was a surprise panellist on BT Sport's coverage of the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday.
The Spaniard sat in the hot seat as his old side prepared for the first leg of their round-of-16 tie against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico and was asked about his frustrations after he lost his job at the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this year.
Benitez insisted that stability was the key to winning titles and warned that a lack of consistency had contributed to Barcelona winning five of the past seven La Liga titles.

He was also asked by presenter Gary Lineker to comment on the influence of president Florentino Perez and asked if the 68-year-old was the "fundamental problem" among Los Blancos.
Benitez had plenty to say but would no doubt have rather been on the touchline in Rome.
