He might have been in the headlines for the wrong reasons over the past 24 hours, but Cristiano Ronaldo reminded us why he's loved all over the world ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League tie with Roma on Wednesday.

The Portuguese superstar made the day of a young Roma mascot as the two sides lined up for the first leg at Rome's Stadio Olimpico.

Not a moment she'll be forgetting in a hurry.
