WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for February 15

Ryan DilbertFeb 15, 2016

Cracks forming in Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose's brotherhood promises to be a key component on Monday's WWE Raw.

With Fastlane less than a week away, WWE will be working to create momentum for that pay-per-view's main event. That means building up a battle that will include two allies locking horns.

Anaheim, California, will play host as Raw hypes that matchup and rounds out the Fastlane card. The New Day is without a bout at the moment. The same goes for Kevin Owens, AJ Styles and The Wyatt Family.

Ongoing rivalries are poised to lead to that changing. Raw will help clear up who is headed for a Fastlane appearance and who will be left out of WWE's PPV plans this time around.

Backstage reports, current storylines and Anthony Benigno's five-point preview on WWE.com provided hints about what to expect on the last Raw before Fastlane.

News, Potential Spoilers

Despite being in the midst of what looked to be a strong push up the card, Titus O'Neil won't be on Monday's Raw. He won't be on Raw for a good while, in fact.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson first reported that WWE suspended O'Neil after an incident on last week's Raw in which the powerhouse grabbed Vince McMahon's arm. As Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com later noted, O'Neil's forced absence was shortened from 90 days to 60.

Brie Bella may be winding down her WWE career.

Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Ringside News) that Brie is set to soon retire. It's not yet known whether her last match will be at Fastlane or WrestleMania.

Brie Bella celebrates with Alicia Fox.

If it's the former, count on WWE approaching her title bout with Charlotte much differently. If this is her swan song, the company will likely focus on her more than it would normally. The tone of her march to the championship opportunity, on Raw and elsewhere, should be more reflective, too.

He could arrive as a surprise guest, but it looks as if Brock Lesnar isn't headed to Anaheim. As James Caldwell of PWTorch noted, "Lesnar is not advertised for Raw. Instead, Lesnar is advertised for this week’s Smackdown completing the PPV hype."

That's SmackDown's major gain and Raw's loss.

Fastlane Hype

The upcoming pay-per-view doesn't yet have a tag team title bout. It looks as if a non-title rivalry might make the cut instead.

The Dudley Boyz attacked The Usos on last Monday's Raw, turning heel in the process. They later went on a tirade on SmackDown, where they promised not to use tables anymore, saying they were tired of fans treating them like a nostalgia act.

Monday's Raw will surely showcase that duo and their issues with The Usos. Does that then mean that The New Day won't have dance partners come Fastlane?

Meanwhile, expect The Wyatt Family to go on the attack again.

After taking down Ryback, Big Show and Kane in recent ambushes, Benigno teased that Bray Wyatt and his crew could be hunting down another Superstar. In his five-point preview, he asked, "Who has The New Face of Fear marked as his next victim?"

The answer to that question could be a clue to what WWE has planned for this faction at Fastlane.

Should another babyface go down, Ryback, Kane and Big Show teaming up with them to take on The Wyatt Family suddenly looks like a realistic possibility. That is, unless WWE is simply using these attacks to prepare Wyatt for a WrestleMania battle with Lesnar.

And while it's looking more and more like Chris Jericho and AJ Styles are on a collision course at WrestleMania, The Miz promises to play a major role before then.

Styles defeated Jericho in his Raw debut. Y2J won their rematch on last week's SmackDown. Benigno wrote, "One would think the stage is set for some kind of rubber match. Which would be as cut and dry as it gets, if The Miz wasn't lurking around playing third wheel."

That seems to point to a Triple Threat match between those men. Or else, The Miz could be Styles' warmup opponent, meeting him at Fastlane to prep for a future showdown with Jericho.

Recently, WWE has made an effort to highlight both Ambrose and Lesnar ahead of Fastlane's main event.

The Lunatic Fringe has stepped up to the big man. And each time that he gets clobbered as a result, he begs for punishment.

This Monday, the focus may be more on the Reigns-Ambrose dynamic. Benigno wrote, "Now that Ambrose has put The Beast on notice, will he turn his attention to The Big Dog next?"

Creating tension between the two allies adds a welcome subplot to the Fastlane No. 1 contender's match. With The Beast Incarnate not around, that's the smart place to shine a light on. WWE will have a tough time convincing anyone, though, that Reigns isn't guaranteed a victory on Sunday.
