Floyd Mayweather Won a Bet When Tyson Fury Became World Heavyweight Champion

The man nicknamed Money still continues to make headlines for precisely that.

Whether he's flaunting expensive jewellery, making the occasional wager or posting bizarre content to Instagram, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his wealth always find a way to make it into the headlines.

The retired boxer is in the UK at the moment and revealed that he won a bet when Britain's Tyson Fury became world heavyweight champion.

The 38-year-old told the Manchester Evening News (via Sky Sports) that he had "never seen [Fury] before but I bet on him because it was good odds."

Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany, to win the title and—as it turns out—make Mayweather some cash.
