8-Year-Old Fan Sends Cam Newton Letter, Trophy After Panthers Lose Super Bowl
Some people have gone out of their way to hate on Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton after his rough Super Bowl 50 performance and abrupt exit at his postgame press conference.
However, eight-year-old Stephen Graham is sticking by his guy.
Graham wanted to find a way to try to lift the 2015 NFL MVP's spirits after the team came out on the wrong side of the scoreboard in the Super Bowl. His idea: send a letter and paper trophy to Newton.

A loss in the Super Bowl is obviously going to sting and take some time to get over. However, kind gestures like this are going to help Newton and the Panthers move on a little bit quicker.
Graham's thoughtfulness brings this season to a fitting end. Newton and his teammates had spent all year handing out footballs to kids after touchdowns, and now, a youngster is there for the quarterback during a tough time.
