Brock Lesnar's Best Booking Options at WWE Fastlane 2016

Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant forces in wrestling history, but how he is booked at WWE Fastlane 2016 will help determine the success of WrestleMania 32.

At the February pay-per-view, Lesnar will be squaring off against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose for the opportunity to fight Triple H in the main event of WrestleMania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Here are the best booking options for Lesnar at Fastlane 2016.

Bray Wyatt Costs Lesnar the Win

The most predictable outcome to the Fastlane main event would be Bray Wyatt and his brothers interfering in the match and taking Lesnar out of the equation with an orchestrated beatdown.

Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan all helped throw Lesnar out of the Royal Rumble match in January, but the men have not come face to face since. While Paul Heyman mentioned Lesnar’s issue with Wyatt, he is currently focused on the world title.

To avoid giving Lesnar a loss, The Wyatt Family interfering in the Triple Threat match and carrying his broken body away like it did with Undertaker and Kane would create a memorable moment that would begin an unforgettable program.

Eventually, the feud would culminate with a match between Lesnar and Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 32.

Lesnar Wins, Main-Events WrestleMania 32

If the obvious outcome of Reigns winning and going on to face Triple H is too predictable, the next-best option would be to put Lesnar in the WrestleMania main event and let him win the championship.

From a storyline perspective, it doesn’t make as much sense as a Wyatt attack, but from a business perspective, Lesnar is the biggest star in the company and a bona fide PPV draw. Putting him at the top of the card would help make it a marquee event for casual fans.

While the WWE Universe has seen Triple H vs. Lesnar several times, the roles would be reversed. With Triple H as the heel and Lesnar as the conquering fan favorite, having The Beast win the championship would make for a blockbuster ending to the biggest show of the year.

Lesnar vs. Triple H isn’t the best WrestleMania main event, but when the likely alternative is Reigns vs. Triple H, the former doesn’t sound quite as bad.
