McLemore Probable vs. Mavericks

Sunday, March 27

The Kings announced that McLemore is probable to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

Inconsistent McLemore Still Important to Kings

In his third season out of Kansas, McLemore is in the midst of an up-and-down campaign. While he's scoring at the most efficient rate of his career, per Basketball-Reference.com, he is playing fewer minutes and attempting fewer shots per game than at any other point.

“I think I’m still trying to find my flow on this team,” McLemore said in January, per Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee. “I know what I need to do. I’m just trying to figure it out. Last year I figured it out pretty fast. Now I need to get over this hump and push from there."

When McLemore missed time earlier this season with a wrist injury, Marco Belinelli received a marked uptick in playing time, so expect more of the same this time around.

With the Kings battling for the final playoff spot in the West, they'd prefer to have McLemore on the floor. But realistically, they can survive nearly any absence that isn't DeMarcus Cousins in the short term.
