Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Top Rumours
Manchester United have reportedly been given a boost in their pursuit of Watford's Odion Ighalo, as the Hornets have a "gentleman's agreement" with the striker to listen to offers for him in the summer.
Matt Barlow in the Daily Mail recently reported that Ighalo turned down a huge-money offer to join Hebei China Fortune in the Chinese Super League, and Watford have managed to keep hold of their star man despite much recent interest due to his immense form this season.
However, according to Mike McGrath in the Sun, Watford will not stop him from moving in the summer if top clubs come calling—United, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are all said to be interested—and the Hertfordshire outfit believe they could get £12 million for him.

That is a fee United would likely be more than happy to pay, considering Ighalo's impressive return this season—he has netted 14 times in 25 Premier League matches this season, as noted by WhoScored.com.
He is currently going through something of a dry spell, having scored just once in his last six top-flight appearances, but another flurry of goals from the 26-year-old before the end of the season will surely keep him on United's radar in the summer.
Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are currently United's only senior strikers, a situation that certainly needs to be addressed imminently.
Bleacher Report's Dean Jones and Sam Tighe recently slammed the Red Devils' inaction in the January transfer window, and they will need to make moves in the summer if they are to increase their title-winning credentials:
Ighalo would be another goalscoring outlet at Old Trafford and would offer them something different, as he and Rooney could likely form an effective front pair.
At £12 million, he would not be a huge risk, either, but given the potential competition from Arsenal and Atleti, he may end up being valued significantly higher.
In the past, though, Ighalo has admitted that he is "not sure I’d say no if United called," via Tony Little in the Sun, an indication perhaps that he could be tempted by an offer from the Red Devils.

Elsewhere, United look set to have a fight on their hands for CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa, as Leicester City are reportedly preparing a £23 million summer bid for the Nigerian, according to Darren Lewis in the Mirror.
The Manchester outfit were linked with Musa in the January transfer window, as they looked to "sharpen up their attack," according to Sam Hall in the Independent.
However, if they are keen to return for him in the summer, they may struggle to seal the deal, especially as the Foxes are looking much more likely than United to be playing in the Champions League next season.
