Fernando Torres' Goal No. 100 Shirt Will Be Donated to Atletico Madrid Museum

Fernando Torres' latest piece of memorabilia will be available for all to see, reported F.J. Diaz of AS.

The Spanish striker, currently on loan from AC Milan, scored his 100th goal for Atletico Madrid on Saturday during a 3-1 win over Eibar and immediately gifted his playing shirt to 80-year-old Manolo Brinas, the man responsible for bringing him to the club some 21 years earlier.

But Brinas said he won't be keeping it as a memento, instead donating it to the club's museum, which will be even more accessible when Atletico relocates to Estadio La Peineta next season.

Torres joined Atletico, the club he supported as a boy, as an 11-year-old in 1995, making his first-team debut in 2001 and scoring his first goal against Albacete Balompie a week later.

Ninety-nine goals and 15 years later, he finally ended the long wait to bring up his century by turning in Luciano Vietto's low cross.

The former Liverpool, Chelsea and Milan striker has now scored 100 goals in 275 appearances for the second-placed La Liga side.
