Vernon Davis Moved to Tears After Giving Fan with Cancer Super Bowl 50 Tickets
Thomas DuffyFeb 7, 2016
Thanks to Denver Broncos tight end Vernon Davis, we were reminded Saturday that life transcends football.
One day before Super Bowl 50, the veteran met with 18-year-old Broncos fan Alex Walter, a cancer and heart transplant patient, at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Davis had hung out with Alex on Tuesday and given him a signed football. The tight end returned four days later with an even greater gift: tickets to the big game. Alex gave Davis a bracelet he made, which seemed to really touch the former San Francisco 49er.
