Steve Kerr to Warriors vs. OKC: 'About Time We Got a Close Game to Play In'

Katie RichcreekFeb 6, 2016

The Golden State Warriors have steamrolled their way through the first half of the season.

The reigning NBA champs sported a pretty 45-4 record heading into their Saturday night matchup against the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder—their third-to-last game before the All-Star break.

Forty-eight minutes later, they made it 46-4 with a 116-108 win. It was a well-fought game, though, with the score tied at 104 with less than four minutes on the clock.

But that didn't seem to faze Steve Kerr. In fact, the Warriors head coach appeared to welcome it, telling his players it was "about time [they] got a close game to play in," adding "it was fun."
