Katie RichcreekFeb 6, 2016

Braylon Beam is following his Carolina Panthers to Super Bowl 50.

The six-year-old superfan, in whom doctors discovered a brain tumor last February, has been a staple of the Panthers' current campaign, serving as an honorary coach and sharing one exceptionally special moment with quarterback Cam Newton.

Ellen DeGeneres broke the news of the trip to Braylon and his family during an episode of her show that aired Friday.

He's already flown to San Francisco in style (read: a private jet) and will have some on-field access at Levi's Stadium as a special correspondent for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Braylon also appears to be making the rounds at the NFL Honors, hanging out with the likes of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams:

The Panthers will face the Denver Broncos on Sunday, with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. ET.
