Andrei Kanchelskis Says Memphis Depay Can Become the Best Winger in the World
Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis has backed under-fire Memphis Depay, telling 888Sport.com exclusively (h/t Talking Baws), that the former PSV Eindhoven man could still become the world's best wide player.
Memphis has provided only five goals and five assists since joining United for £31 million in the summer, but Kanchelskis has backed him to come good at Old Trafford.
"He is a very good player," he told 888Sport.com. "He’s a skillful winger with good crossing ability and a great change of pace. He has the potential to become the best winger in the world."

Kanchelskis also had praise for Memphis' thriving team-mate Anthony Martial, but thinks the Frenchman's best position is as an out-and-out striker.
"Martial is no out and out winger like Ryan Giggs was in his early days," he said. "His best position is attacking down the middle, that is where his future will be."
