Pep Guardiola Replaces Manuel Pellegrini as Captain of the Manchester City Ship

Tom WebbFeb 1, 2016

Fans of the Premier League were left with a mixed sense of fear and excitement Monday after it was announced that Pep Guardiola would take over from Manuel Pellegrini as Manchester City manager at the end of the season, per BBC Sport.

The news may not have come as a shock, but there was still a sense of ruthlessness about how suddenly the Chilean was replaced with four months still remaining in the season.

That won't bother Guardiola, for come 2016/17, he's the captain of the Manchester City ship.
