Chelsea Youth Players Respond Cryptically to Matt Miazga Signing

Chelsea announced the signing of 20-year-old USA centre-back Matt Miazga on Saturday, but not everyone at the club seemed entirely happy with the news.

Josimar Quintero and Kasey Palmer, who are both involved with the Blues' under-21 side, responded to the club's official announcement on Instagram by tagging team-mate Jake Clarke-Salter and posting the thinking emoji.

Young defender Clarke-Salter was included in Chelsea's tour of the United States last summer and has been widely tipped to break his way into the first team in the near future.

Miazga's signing may provide an additional obstacle to that progression, something that may have dawned on the club's other young players.
