Kevin De Bruyne Meets with 11-Year-Old Manchester City Fan with Brain Tumour
Young Manchester City fan Michael Hollyhead enjoyed a special day out recently when he met his hero, Kevin De Bruyne, at the club's training ground.
Michael, 11, is currently being treated for a brain tumour that was diagnosed when he was just seven, but he was able to put aside thoughts of his illness with a memorable day at the City Football Academy.

"It has been absolutely brilliant," Michael told the Manchester Evening News (via the Mirror). "Kevin is such a great footballer and I was really excited to meet him."
The meeting was arranged between City and children's charity Rays of Sunshine, whose chief executive, Jane Sharpe, thanked the club for making it possible:
"So many young boys dream of meeting their favourite footballer and we are so grateful to Manchester City FC for making it possible for Michael to fulfil his greatest wish to meet Kevin De Bruyne.
This incredible day gave Michael and his family the chance to put thoughts of his illness on hold and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they will never forget.

Michael will be hoping for the best for his new friend after De Bruyne was ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury sustained in City's Capital One Cup semi-final win over Everton on Wednesday, per BBC Sport.
