Barcelona Fans Chant, Display Banners Calling for Neymar to Stay: 'Not Figo'

Joe GallagherJan 28, 2016

Barcelona fans have made their feelings clear to Neymar and to their most fierce rivals.

The Brazilian scored the final goal as Luis Enrique's side booked a spot in the Copa del Rey semi-finals with a 5-2 aggregate victory over Athletic Bilbao, and he was the focus for many inside the Camp Nou.

The 23-year-old has been sensationally linked with domestic and continental rivals Real Madrid in recent days, and supporters of last season's treble winners have made it abundantly clear that those rumours aren't welcome.

Throughout the 3-1 win on Wednesday, the home fans chanted "Neymar stay" and unfurled a banner aimed at Madrid president Florentino Perez with a very simple message (per AS English on Twitter): "Neymar is not Figo."

Portuguese legend Luis Figo became one of Perez's most famous and controversial signings when he joined Madrid from Barcelona in 2000.

And Barca fans are doing all they can to ensure Neymar doesn't become his next.
