Williams vs. Radwanska: Score, Highlights from Australian Open Semifinals 2016
No. 1 Serena Williams def. No. 4 Agnieszka Radwanska 6-0, 6-4
Serena Williams cruised to her seventh Australian Open final with a straight set victory over Agnieszka Radwanska on Wednesday night.
The No. 1 seed blew through the first set in 21 minutes as she broke the No. 4 seed on three occasions and recorded 18 winners to Radwanska's one.
Williams made some mistakes in the second set, but she benefited from some timely winners and unforced errors by Radwanska. Williams committed 13 unforced errors herself in the second set, but she balanced them out with 24 winners.
The American bounced back from a 15-40 deficit in the ninth game of the second set to break Radwanska and earn a chance to serve for the match.
Williams used three aces and a forehand winner to close out the match that was a one-sided affair from the start.
Williams will face either Johanna Konta or Angelique Kerber in the women's final on Sunday morning at 3:30 a.m. ET.
