Everton and England Star Ross Barkley Details His Rise to Fame in Capital One Ad
Ross Barkley has appeared in an emotional advert for Capital One ahead of this evening's League Cup semi-final second leg with Manchester City.
Shot from the perspective of the Everton midfielder, the commercial tracks his development from the Wavertree youngster who signed with the Toffees as an 11-year-old to the England international who overcame a career-threatening broken leg.
The 22-year-old broke his leg in three places in 2010 during an England under-19 match and was told by doctors that he'd "never play again."
