Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo Appears to Be Spat at by Real Betis Fan in 1-1 Draw

Sunday's 1-1 draw with Real Betis was an eventful one for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid's superstar seemed to be guilty of a kick at one of his opponents in the second half, and the Portuguese looked as though he was the victim of some unsavoury behaviour by one member of the home crowd.

Ronaldo must be used to being perceived as a villain in away matches by now, but as he jumped over the advertising hoardings to collect the ball in front of Betis' supporters, one fan appeared to spit in the direction of the three-time Ballon d'Or winner when his back was turned.

Third-placed Madrid's next game in La Liga is against Espanyol at the Bernabeu on Sunday.
