Marussia Put 4 Formula 1 Cars Up for Auction, Expected to Sell for £200,000

Joe GallagherJan 26, 2016

The Marussia Formula One team, now known as Manor Racing, are putting a few very valuable collectors' items up for auction, reported the BBC.

Four cars, which raced between 2010 and 2013, are expected to sell for as much as £200,000 each.

Though the Virgin VR01 (2010), Marussia Virgin MVR02 (2011), Marussia MR01 (2012) and Marussia MR02 (2013) never won a championship point, they're still valuable assets attracting "international interest," according to Giorgio Vitale of John Pye Auctions.

"They have to be seen in person to be fully appreciated for their styling and engineering beauty," he said. "The assets are the most modern F1 cars to have been made available on the international market."

So, who's buying?
