Everton Invite Young Fan with Cerebral Palsy to Play on Goodison Park Pitch

It was a special day for young Evertonian George on Sunday, as he was welcomed onto the Goodison Park pitch to score in front of a stadium full of applauding fans.

George, who has cerebral palsy, was invited to Everton's 2-1 defeat to Swansea at the weekend by Toffees winger Gerard Deulofeu, and he made the most of his chance to find the net in front of his fellow supporters.

The nine-year-old put his team's disappointing performance behind him, as he grinned from ear to ear while showing what he could do on the famous turf.
