The Michigan State Spartans are riding high.
With a seven-point lead heading into the final moments of their Saturday matchup against the No. 7 Maryland Terrapins, the No. 11 Spartans were already (figuratively) popping the champagne.
Matt Costello was in particularly good spirits when Tom Izzo subbed the senior forward out with 4.2 seconds left on the clock to give him a proper ovation from the sea of "Mean Green"—good enough that he scooped Sparty's fearless leader up off the ground with a giant bear hug.
