Head coach Terry Stotts said Aminu will be avalaible on Monday against Chicago but will be limited to 16-20 minutes of game action, per Sean Highkin of the Athletic.
Aminu Has Been Strong Presence off the Bench for Blazers
Aminu only played four minutes on Nov. 8, scoring two points before coming out.
Aminu averaged only 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest in 74 games for the Dallas Mavericks in 2014-15, but he has assumed a larger role in Portland, posting 10.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game last year.
He helps the Portland offense stretch opposing defenses because of his ability to shoot from three-point range, but at 6'9", he is also tall enough to get involved on the boards and score inside the lane.
