Arsenal, Manchester City's Fernandinho Lead Premier League Selfie Tables

Joe GallagherJan 22, 2016

It would appear Roy Keane's assessment of Arsenal's selfie-taking was accurate. His prediction that this would put them off winning the Premier League might yet turn out to be false, though.ย

As evidence that some people have a little too much time on their hands, BettingExpert.comย (h/t MailOnline)ย has researched the truth behind the Irishman's claim, studying the Instagram accounts of Premier League clubs and players to create a selfie league table.

League-leading Arsenal are top of the pile there too, having taken 494 selfies this season, some 58 more than nearest rivals Chelsea, whom they will meet on the pitch this Sunday.

The two are followed by Manchester rivals United (376) and City (367). The selfie league table is propped up by West Bromwich Albion, who have taken just 72 selfies this term, and Aston Villa (134) find themselves in the rare position of being outside the bottom three.

As for the individual table, Manchester City's Fernandinho (170) leads the league ahead of Arsenal's Joel Campbell (145) andโ€”perhaps surprisinglyโ€”Swansea City defender Jordi Amat.

The likes of Oscar, Willian and theย toast-burning Marcos Rojo also feature in the top 10, alongside some bolters in Marc Muniesa and Ivo Pinto.

Though, as we know, it's about quality rather than quantity.
