Casspi Out vs. Rockets
Tuesday, April 12
James Ham of CSNBayArea.com noted that Casspi "will remain home when the Kings face the Rockets in in Houston for Wednesday’s finale."
Casspi Played Key Role When Healthy
Casspi battled upper-back soreness in January, but he worked his way through it and returned to the floor on Jan. 13 following a four-game absence. When healthy, he had been a surprisingly effective force from beyond the arc, shooting nearly 41 percent.
"He’s just a better all-around NBA player,” Kings play-by-play announcer Grant Napear said, per Ham. "He’s improved his three-point shot more than significantly. He has a better understanding of the game. Whether you start him or whether he’s coming off the bench, he’s a guy that you pretty much know what you’re going to get every night."
