Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Pauses Game to Help Ballgirl Who Was Hit in the Face by Ball

French tennis star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga revealed his caring side on Wednesday when he rushed to the aid of a ballgirl who had been hit in the face by a ball at the Australian Open.

The young assistant appeared visibly distressed after being struck on the nose during Tsonga's second-round tie with Omar Jasika, prompting the No. 9 seed to lend his arm and lead the girl away to receive medical attention.

Tsonga went on to win the match in straight sets—perhaps what goes around comes around after all.
