Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Romelu Lukaku, Felipe Anderson Rumours
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku will set Manchester United back a cool £65 million if they decide to pursue the Belgian in the summer.
That's according to the Sun's Rob Beasley, who notes Everton are hoping to ward off the likes of United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain with his enormous price tag.
The 22-year-old was a costly purchase for the Toffees when they parted with £28 million for him in 2014, and the youngster has so far rewarded their faith in him. Squawka Football shared his incredible form this season:

Lukaku has also assisted a further five goals this year. Former Premier League star Stan Collymore believes the centre-forward's value has shot up after his excellent displays, though it is still some way off Everton's valuation:
United are in desperate need of a clinical frontman as they are severely struggling to convince in the final third. With the team proving laboured and uninspired in attack, chances have been few and far between this season—according to Squawka, only West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland have created fewer opportunities in the Premier League.
Therefore, a forward who can reliably take those when they come along is crucial.
Lukaku may not possess an abundance of pace or creativity—something United are also in dire need of—but he's a strong, powerful and ruthless striker. Though many might understandably baulk at the fee needed to prise him away from Goodison Park, he's undoubtedly a player who could make a big impact at Old Trafford.
Another reported target for the Red Devils is Lazio winger Felipe Anderson, and according to Jonathan Green of the Daily Star, Eagles manager Stefano Pioli admitted to reporters in Italy the Brazilian could move in January. He said: "I don't know. I'm not sure if he'll stay."

Green further notes, per Paul Hetherington of the same outlet, United have been "discussing" a £35 million deal for Anderson and preparing a £100,000 per week pay packet.
The 22-year-old notched 11 goals and 10 assists in all competitions last season as he emerged as a top star in Serie A. BT Sport Football captured his outstanding performance against Sampdoria:
As he showed in the latter clip, Anderson has exceptional dribbling skills, demonstrated here by WhoScored.com:
WhoScored's Cristiano Acconci believes he was worth the reported value at the time:
Football writer Adam Digby hinted Anderson could be aware of United's interest:
However, with just six goals and three assists, the Brazilian is yet to hit the heights he did last year so far this season. Indeed, he has proven somewhat inconsistent and had a number of matches to forget, per Serie A expert James Horncastle:
Nevertheless, Digby still believes Anderson could be an excellent player for United and bring back excitement to Old Trafford.
If he can recapture his earlier form he could well do that, but at the reported fees he certainly represents a hefty risk, and for the Red Devils to return to their earlier glory they can't afford for their gambles not to pay off.
