PSG's Edinson Cavani, Marco Verratti Attempt Challenge to Knock Cone off Head

With the header-bin challenge all but squeezed dry, footballers are turning to new and inventive ways of demonstrating their skills off the pitch.

A few of Paris Saint-Germain's players have tried their luck with a variation of the William Tell apple-shot, attempting a deft chip to knock a cone off their teammate's head without, well, knocking their teeth out.

Edinson Cavani and Marco Verratti gave the challenge a go in videos posted on goalkeeper Kevin Trapp and Verratti's Instagram accounts—and it looks like the Italian won:

Ligue 1 leaders PSG take on Angers on Saturday, but given their domestic dominance this term, Laurent Blanc's men could be forgiven for thinking further ahead, with a Coupe de la Ligue Semi-Final against Toulouse on the horizon.
