Everton Give Away Free Tickets After Fans Miss Man City Match Due to Traffic
Tom WebbJan 18, 2016
Everton have taken an admirable stance to repay supporters who missed much of their Premier League clash with Manchester City last week due to traffic issues.
Problems on the roads meant a large number of fans were late to the Toffees' 0-0 draw at the Etihad Stadium, but the club have responded by covering the price of tickets to the Capital One Cup semi-final second leg away to the same opposition on Jan. 27.
"The unwavering commitment of Evertonians in supporting the team on our travels is renowned," the club wrote on Twitter before revealing their "gesture of goodwill."
