Injured Michael Carrick, Phil Jones Sit with Man United Fans for Liverpool Trip

Michael Carrickย and Phil Jones missed Manchester United's visit to Anfield on Sunday through injury, but they pair found another way to take in the action.

Red Devils legends like David Beckham, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane have all joined United supporters for matches, and Ander Herreraย recently suggestedย he'd like to do the same.

His 34-year-old teammate Carrick took a selfie with United fan Andy, who shared the moment on Twitterย in the lead up to the big match against Liverpool.

And shortly after kick-off pictures emerged of his fellow Englishman, Phil Jones, cheering on Louis van Gaal's side from the away section, per MailOnline:
