Ferguson won 38 trophies in 27 years in charge at Old Trafford before retiring in 2013.

"Maybe he is the best ever," Klopp said of the former United boss. "The John Lennon of football or something."
It will be the first time the German has managed Liverpool for a match with their great rivals, as the Reds look to avenge the 3-1 defeat they suffered at Old Trafford in September.
